Ive been bf my lo but the past week ive given formula a couple of times however i am at a loss at how many ounces he should have! Never ff as this is my first so would love to know how many ounces does your 6/7 month old drink please. Ive tried 4oz he drank it all and probably would have had more if i put in more milk.

I switched from BF to FF last month and he has four 8-9 oz bottles per day at 8am/1130/330/730pm. He also gets lunch/dinner (solids) at 12 and 530. Goodluck with the switch! If I remember correctly they should be getting 30-40oz/day at that age.

My son is 8 months now but we started moving from BF to FF around the same age. He was normally having 6 feeds a day, I started a bottle with his nap of 7oz. He now has 4 7oz feeds a day and breakfast lunch and dinner.

30 Oz formula / day (6) 5 Oz bottles
12 Oz pureed food / day

He's 20 lbs..

My baby has 6 bottles of 6oz usually, plus solids.

We make up 6oz bottles; sometimes she drains them, sometimes she leaves a few ounces. She probably has about 6 a day. We've just started her on solids too, so she has a few spoons of that at dinner time.

We do 3 bottles of 8oz (720mls a day). I was told they need a minimum of 500-600mls a day at this age. My lo loves his solids so has three decent meals a day too.
