How many times does your lo empty themselves?

Hi,

My little girl is nearly 2 weeks old now and when she was born she would poo about 3 times a day.
Its been 2 days now and she hasnt pooed. Shes very windy and breaks wind alot. She doesnt seem to be in pain and she is feeding fine.

Is this normal? im getting worried now xxx

Twice a week - usually Friday night and Tuesday ish... yes it's THAT regular.

Every morning......Before she gets up.... she did go through an afternoon phase but shes mainly a morning pooper!

my LO goes every day , but it IS normal for ff babes to go a couple days .

I am jealous, lol. Mine goes like 3x a day. Usually as soon as we get in the car, or change a dipe.

My LO goes once a day or every other day. I think it is normal.

i think this is quite normal with FF feed babies, especially at your daughters age. my DD would go 3+ days with out going at her age. As long as her poo isn't like rabbit droppings when she does go she's fine. If it hard then offer her some cooled boiled water between feeds (you could also do this to help her go if she starts to get really bloated and in pain as well) and contact your HV or doctor about constipation.
At 4 months Livy now goes every other day.
