I honestly can't believe how much I have spent  I keep amending my order which is to be delivered tomorrow, I add things on, take things off, things go out of stock so I have to find alternatives and the final total is £170 delivered, that is just completely crazy! The majority of it is for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and then NYE and NYD except for maybe £20 on essentials (bread, dog food, bin bags, wash powder etc!) Am I the only one who spends a fortune? I'm actually dreading it coming because Asda are so useless, the last few times I have used them they have forgotten at least a dozen items, last time it was half my shopping so I dread to think how many items they'll forget from a 100+item order :dohh: Please reassure me I aren't alone, I can't wait for it all to get here so I can relax!

I am going on Friday, yes i am mad, i have £150 ish give or take.

V xxx

Lol your not mad I had £300 to spend which included my normal shop and Christmas shop I spent 273 xx

So far I have spend £70 on food £40 on my Turkey, I am going tonight to get the rest of my shopping which is another £30-£40 and then all my fresh stuff on Christmas eve which comes to about £20. I have also spend £20-£30 on treats, biscuits, sweets, shortbread ect.ect. so that between £180 and £200 !!!! WOW I hadnt counted it all up until now, that is crazy !!!

 all DH kept saying is 'well last time we went we spent £300' that didn't help! I did my usual food shop last week too, that was £140! We'll be eating beans on toast all of January  glad it isn't just me though!

Its madness really! We spend less than that on a months shopping! Lol.
I go to mums for Christmas but we arent short of anything there. She spends around £300 but she caters for 13-15 people.

I did my food shop last night ... and OK I did buy enough food for 2 weeks, plus 2 boxes of nappies and a multi pack/box of baby wipes for Tattie and some luxury bits and bobs for my eldest as she isn't living at home .... and the pet food .... but I spent £323 :blush: and that doesn't even include the turkey, which I will pick up from the butcher on xmas eve

Thank Goodness for my xmas bonus

Just went christmas food shopping today was a bloody nightmare! it came up to £78 we have to get the
meat/turkey tomorrow and that's like £28 i think and still need a few bits so about £115

Shop arrived yesterday for 75 pounds but I'd already spent about 30 on bits tht would keep frozen etc x

we have decided to go to asdas tonight. ive already bought party food bits, the meat, prawns, sauces and stuff like that. we need to get the veg and fresh stuff tonight. rather than take our bank cards im taking £200. that way i know i wont spend more lol x

I went last week and it was 170 but we have eaten loads of the snacks. I expect I will spend another 150 tomorrow x

I spent £109 in Tesco on Monday night and need to go back tomorrow to finish it off, so i'd say about £160 in total, thats for 1 weeks food, alcohol and goodies :)

We are going tomorrow and expect to spend about £150..thats xmas eve and NYE bits and usual weeks shopping as we are eating out xmas day, boxing day and NYD at family

We`ve spent about £60 on booze already

We had probably spent £50 on little bits and bobs for christmas on shops before but we did the 'big shop' tonight and spent £200. I've not even paid for my turkey or puddings yet :dohh: So will be atleast £300 and doesn't include alcohol

I didn't include alcohol in my total, we spend about £60-£70 on alcohol and we still need to get a few bottles of wine :)

We went today and got the last of our stuff. £50 in Iceland on party bits and bobs, £135 in Asda. Spent £50 in Tesco on Friday and the turkey was about £20. £255! Mad!

Plus I'll prob have to do a small shop in between xmas and new years!
