Everyone says your baby will let you know, but he doesn't! He is 2 months old, and gets one bottle of expressed milk from DH before bed each night. Sometimes he'll be satisfied after 2.5 oz, other times 5.5 oz… other times 4, other times 3! lol! How old is your baby and how many oz does he take? Thanks!

I'm stalking too. Not currently expressing enough to satisfy him with my own expressed milk alone though. The maximum I've gotten out is 2oz and LO is a week old.

You'll produce more as your LO grows. 2 oz at 1 week old is pretty standard! I didn't start pumping until 2 weeks and that's all I got for the first week or so. Now at 9 weeks I'll get anywhere from 3-6 oz per pump session.

My daughter is 15 weeks old and she gets 4 oz bottles while at daycare. they say to feed baby 1-1.25 oz for every hour, so if it eats every 4 hours, 4-5 oz should be sufficient.

My 2 month old can down a 6 oz. bottle with ease...and she wants to eat every 2-3 hours...
