My 14 month old LO is teething hard and tonight she was going completely spare until she left out a few good toots and then things eased up a bit. When she was little I made my own gripe water for her and I still have all of the ingredients so was going to whip up another batch to help with her bellyaches, but I have NO idea how much you can give a 14 month old. Does anyone know?

I give my son two teaspoons in his bottle but he is eight weeks. She may be able to have more. I read you can give an ounce of homemade. May I ask what you put in yours. I use ground fennel seed, fresh ginger and chamomile tea.

I tend to follow the recipes on this page:

I think I'll give the health visitors a ring today and ask them - thanks!
