How much shopping have you done for your littleone?

Hello

Was just wondering how much everyone has bought for their littleone's arrival? I really need to get my finger out and start doing some proper shopping, I only have a few outfits and bibs so far!

Not much, bought bottles, the crib mattress (a crib is being given to us) and a bath. A lot has been given to us though, clothes, toys, etc.

I've pretty much done with the clothes shopping, I've got a pram, some nappies, towels and bath stuff, changing bag (came with the pram), hopefully a car seat & my nan is buying the moses basket.

I've still got loads to get though. I'm waiting for my maternity grant which I should have in a few weeks and then I'll get everything else. It's sooooo exciting all this shopping and for cute stuff too!!

I guess thats up to you. Some people don't want to before 12 weeks and others start before they even get pregnant. Starting earlier certainly helps to spread the cost.

I need to get cracking really. I´ve got a pram and a car seat and a couple of bibs and thats it!!! My brother and sister in law came to visit us last week and gave us some money to spend so I´ve got good reason to hit the shops now!!

Weve bought a pram and car seat off one of my friends this week, and a playmat from them too with like an arch and dangly bits. if you know what I mean

We also bought a steriliser and moses basket, and my mam has donately lots of new clothes she bought for my little bro that he never wore.

Well I have ordered the crib, mattress, the dresser, glider and a long dresser/changing table. So the big stuff is out of the way. I have 4 little outfits. And that is about it.

I am going in the next week or two to register for all the other stuff we need. I am concentrating right now on decorating the nursery. It is painted, and the new carpet is in. Now I am on a mission for wallpaper for one feature wall.

Bought a doppler, but that's all. Waiting to confirm that my suspicions of having a girl is correct.

And if it is a girl, a mother at my son's preschool has tons of girl stuff for me We'll see if it comes through though as you know how some people are.

Gave all my baby stuff away a long time ago...if only I could have foreseen the future.

We have bought diapers, some bath stuff, wipes, onesies (1 pkg), sleepers (1 pkg), one box of bottles, 2 Dr. Seuss stuffed animals. My parents have a crib that we can have, someone just gave me a car seat today (totally awesome and in great shape almost like new). My sister has a pump I can use (it's electronic and pumps both at the same time). I think that is it for now. We have made a vow that every time we go to WalMart or a store that has baby stuff that we will buy something for the baby. Also, my sister has boy and girl clothes so I told her to hold on to them for me.

The carpet in the baby's room needs to be cleaned. We are going to rent a rug doctor from WalMart and clean the carpet in there. We still have a lot of big items to purchase, but those will come along when we have the money. We get our first ultrasound on the 22nd and if baby cooperates, we will find out what we are having. Can't wait. I think it is easier to buy everything in stages other than all at once (financially).

I have a crib from my girlfriend and some other small stuff but we need to get everything!! I am going to wait to start until I go for my ultrasound on Monday just to make sure that everything is ok in there...

Wow! You girls are all way ahead of me! It dawned on me today, I'm going to be in my third trimester in just 2 weeks and I've only bought the crib, and the bedding. I've been given a couple of outfits and some bibs. Other than that, we have nothing. I'm really waiting until after my shower, which isn't until March 29th, so we won't be doing any shopping until April. YIKES!!

On second thought, that might be okay, we will definitely have our tax return back by then!

We have bought two-four outfits, 1 pack of diapers, and 1 pack of wipes.
We have had given to us: about 15-20 outfits, the bedding, and a nursing pillow which my mom took me to buy; a swing, some 4oz bottles, and travel set my aunt gave us; and a crib which OHs sister gave us.

There is still lots we need! It makes me nervous as I am almost full term and could go into labor at anytime. My baby shower is this weekend though and OH is *hoping* we get everything then because we dont have any money put back for ANYTHING!!

So far i have my pram and car seat which is a travel system (i was given one but went shopping the other week and saw one i loved so bought that as well )

About 30 new outfits, including jackets and some snow suits for when its older, about 10 bibs, and socks

Kinda went mad and we only have nappy's, baby bath, car seat and baby bouncer left lol! We got LOT'S of clothes in the January sales which saved us ALOT of money and now we now have all the clothes we need for upto 3 months

Oh heck, everyone is waaaaaay ahead of me, all i´ve got are a few outfits. Going next week to look at prams n stuff tho. Not got a car so going to the proper baby shop out of town is a bit of a faff. There´s not much available to buy here in town, just clothes. (Not even decent maternity clothes, my mum´s had to guess my size and bring em from the UK! lol)

We are going to send my niece money to buy the bedding this month and diaper bag (better selections in the States I've found and cheaper than here) and are going to Old Navy this weekend (DH's idea) because they are having a sale!

I've bought a few babygros in early baby and new born and a snow suit. I also bought a set with scratch mits and a hat and stuff from M&S but i won't be buying many more clothes till it's born. There's only so much white one can take! My friend knitted me a cardigan.

I also have the moses basket, a small stock of size 1,2 and 3 nappies! Just in case. Baby wipes. Erm, yeah, that's it. I'm looking out for a good offer on a cot bed... that's next on my list!

I just want to buy everything!

oh.. my dad bought me a travel system from Mothercare which get's delivered 2 weeks before the baby is due!
