Just curious as to how much vitex everyone takes and how successful it has been, also where do you get yours from?

Many thanks,

Sarah xxx

I was told the dosage was 800mg(400mg 2x) a day until Ovulation then cut back to 400mg a day...

Unfortunately taking that much didn't work out well for me - every time I have tried to take it - my cycles shortened to 19-20 days - which I don't need!!!

I have read lots and lots of success stories about Vitex. All you can do is try!

I bought mine on Amazon

Thanks for your reply. The reason I ask is because I have bought some from a shop in town, Holland and Barrett and they are only 4mg! After doing some research I've found that's nowhere near enough to be effective  think I'll have a look online.

Thanks again,

Sarah xxx

Actually clinical studies have shown 35-40mg to be effective.
I just started taking it so will see how it goes.
I think it is crazy that it comes in 400-2000mg when that dose is sooo much higher than needed!
