How much weight did your LO lose at birth...and how long until they gained it back?

Guess the title says it all. My LO went from 7lbs 9oz to 7lbs 2 oz. He's now 11 days old and I'm wondering how much weight gain I should expect at his Dr.'s appt. this Thursday. I seem to recall reading that they should be back to their birth weight by two weeks of age...but I could be wrong.

My LO was 7lb 120z, by 7 days she was 7lb 2oz, lost over 15% .. she had regained it by a few weeks. She's now 11lb 9oz

Little one was 6lb 10oz at birth, went down to 6lb 1ozs as his tongue tie made it very hard for him to feed (at the breast) then gradually went up when I started mixed feeding. He had regained his birth weight and then some by 3 weeks old (was 7lbs). He's fully FF'ed now and was 17.5lbs last time I had him weighed - is probably over 18lbs now. Good luck with your weigh in. Don't worry, I'm sure he'll gain back his birth weight soon

my little fella only lost 1 and a half ounces, went from 7.11 to 7.9and a half and at 10 days old he was 7.13 and a half so he did really well, my other 2 didnt lose any they went up a few ounces x

My LO was also 7 lb9 at birth, going down to 7lb2 at 5 days, going back up to 7lb 12 at 11 days. When she was weighed again at 3 weeks and 3 days she was 8lb 14oz. hth

My DD didnt lose anything..she was 6lb 11 born and at 5 days old, she was 7lb 3

my lo was 6lb 10oz at birth, lost 3% in the first few days.. and was a whopping 7lbs 11oz at 2 weeks! so it took her no time to start gaining well xx

Ollie was 7lb12oz at birth then went to 7lb8oz and was back up to his birth weight 4 days later
