How Much

Liam is almost 14 weeks old now and today he has demolished off 4 x 8'oz bottles in 8 hours obviously ready to up it to 9'oz bottles


can we have a greedy baby or is the hungry milk just not filling him up?

Got the HV out next week to help kick start his weaning from 4 months and how many bottles should he have?

His feeding pattern today so far is..

7:30am - feed
10:00am - feed
12::00pm - feed
15:00pm - feed

All 8'ounce bottles or could it be a growth spurt?

that seems like alot of milk Jacob will only take 7oz now your best bet is to talk to your HV sorry I cant be much help x

Maley was the same when she was about 11/12 weeks and thats why we weaned her early (she was screaming for milk straight after a 8oz bottle) this was for a few weeks so i knew it wasnt a growth spurt....she still has 8oz bottles but three (one in morning, afternoon and before bed)...in between her meals

Its your choice to wean though so go with what you feel. If you do, feel free to PM me any questions. See what your HV says.

jayden too is on 8oz bottles. he has been for a few weeks now and polishes off the whole 8oz each time. i'm going to try to hold out til hes 4 months to start him on some baby rice x

I thought Rosie has alot, she has 6 x 6oz bottles a day
