how often do you BD around ovulation?

just interested to know how often my fellow over-35-TTCing-lovelies BD around ovulation?

each month I say Im going to do the every other night thing, and when I get my smiley test will do that night too. but once Im around my ovulation time I always panic and do it every night and sometimes twice in a day LOL!! Ive heard about the sperm regenerating thing but read that is only when the male has an abnormal sperm count and my hubby has an excellent count. So for example we BDd last night and will tomorrow night, but my ticker says this is one of my most fertile so I panic and Im going to jump on hubby right now... me want

DH and I currently BD approximately every other day throughout most of my cycle although my libido increase around my fertile period so it can sneak up to daily BDing.

Strictly speaking I suspect we should stick to every other day as DH has a low sperm count although he has only ever had one SA which was 2 years ago. So in a couple of months if no BFP we're going to see the doctor and both get referred for more tests as I only ever had a 21 day test done in 2009.

Ha ladies I'm 38 and I'm new to BnB but i enjoy this thread more becuz i like being with the wiser ladies but to answer I think its best every other day but today and until Monday it will be everynight. My poor husband I hope that he's ready.

I told OH to suck it up and get plenty of rest...

I'm trying to get OH to only work late every other night, but he's a workaholic and that is proving quite difficult. When he's tired, he literally walks through the door, kisses me, takes a shower, and then crawls into bed with a quick "nightnight!!". LOL!

Can you see me begging? I definitely do and more than just in the feritle window!

Well I researched loads of supplements for DH and his sperm count and put him on Maca root - goodness I don't have to beg any more

Would have helped if I read it had to same effect as Viagra without the side effects before I gave it to him but hey ho the things we'll do for a BFP Thankfully he is happy with the situation although I think he went to work for a rest this month when I was fertile

Every other day until a positive OPK test, then every day until a temp rise.

We really prefer every other day, though...May try that next time....enjoy it more that way...

Hiya Sarah, i try for cd 8, cd 10 then 3 days in a row frm smily opk face. Thats what weve done this cycle, so hopefully all good. Running out of ideas and steam!! Also waiting on FS apt and OH to have SA done. Good luck x

I try for every other day, but it's not always possible!

When we conceived our LO we DTD 3 times in my "fertile week"
