How soon to expect AF or ovulation on vitex?

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 5 years ago and have been on metformin twice and spironolactone. The metformin and spiro worked the second time this past year, then periods just disappeared around May of this year after having them every 35 days for about a year. I am 28 and just started taking vitex 6 days ago in conjunction with Ovasitol (myo-inositol and d-chiro-inositol). For those have used vitex, about how long does it take to ovulate and/or get your period? Ive been having aome light twinges and cramps, but Im not sure if its ovulation or period starting soon.

I think you're supposed to allow 3 months at least.
Despite not regaining periods, I managed to become pregnant twice with vitex within 6-12 weeks.
