How do I know when my period has started again, it may be a really obvious answer, I only ask because I was bleeding and clotting 3 weeks after emcs, turned out to be an infection, so was given antibiotics and cleared up, now im 6 weeks and the bleeding had started again accompanied with sharp shooting pains right side lower abdomen x x

well my period came back at 5.5 weeks so about four days ago, and my lochia stopped two days before and I knew it was period blood as my lochia had gone light brown to yellow then nothing then two days later I got terrible contraction pains and lower abdomen shooting pains and very heavy bleeding, and it will last up to seven days, I need to change my pad three to four times a day, way more than usual and i need to wear two to three pads at a time to stop leaking so yeah it will be your period

I was checked 5-6 weeks after my emcs and was advised by the gynaecologist you can get some bleeding as the internal stitches come out at that time. So might be that also.

hmm but if its painful, feels like a period and lasts up to seven days its likely not stitches, it will be the period
