hey ladies!

(ive posted this in baby club too, so forgive me!)

Im nesting and just dug out all of harry's old bottles and steriliser and realised what a mess they are all in!...lots of lime scale. We lived/live in a hard water area!

what can i do to get them sparking clean for Lyla?? thanks!x

oh - ive tried the dishwasher...it didnt shift any of it! aggggghhhhh!

Don't know if you're still looking for an answer here.....but I just have a suggestion!

Generally boiling water gets anything as clean as it's going to get (IMO) so I would try boiling water in the biggest pot you can, and letting the bottles soak in there.....that may "soften" the limescale up enough so that you can wash them like normal.

Good luck!!

I have a Tommee Tippee bottle brush. The bristles seem to be harder (and there's more of them) than on the regular wire brushes, so they seem to give a more thorough clean. I actually bought it a few years ago to clean a glass vase, but then lost it when we moved house. The day I dug it out (after my regular wire one broke), the bottles all came up gleaming :)
