how to tell CD1?? Help?

Hi Ladies

Im going to sound so silly but when do i tell i have got to CD1? Ive been spotting old blood for several days (and im in agony) and i have redish cm now with the brown cm but no bright blood.

Im due to start clomid this cycle so really need to know whether to count today as CD1??

I have always been told, and read, that day 1 is your first day of proper blood flow - ie. not old blood, and not spotting. In which case it sounds like today isn't cycle day one if you were to go by that.

What cycle days are you taking your Clomid?

I have been told the first sight of blood. ie: spotting. What I suggest is that you call your doctor and ask them what you should count as CD1. Good luck!

I always doubt this but have always been told its the first day of proper red flow, so spotting doesnt count

Thanks hays, I now have red flow but not enough that in my head i would be thinking AF was here properly so ill see what tomorrow brings and probably count that as day 1.

I've been told full flow which makes sense because spotting can be a sign of implantation bleeding so you want to make sure that it's actually the witch.
