Well basically I am re-using a lot of things from my DD1. Clothes are straight forward, but as for the pram covers/carseat they are quite a tight fit and I dont want to risk shrinking it or anything.

What did/would you do.... wash or wipe clean? And what would you wipe it clean with?

The pram has a removeable padded cover inside and I cover on the top that I have washed..... will I just wipe clean the rest? And do the same for the carseat? I also have a footmuff for the carseat which I have washed also.

The baby swing material is a lot softer (need to get it out loft) so I think I could wash that in the machine

I stuck my baby swing covers in the washing machine then put them back on when damp to stop them stretching or going out of shape, seems to have worked, they're lovely and clean and still in shape :)

I washed our maxi cosi car seat cover, swing cover, bouncer seat cover, play mats etc. on a quick cycle at 40 degrees. I just hung them up to air dry and they were all fine.

I've always washed anything like that in the machine. The car seat cover is drying as I type - I just did a cold wash so it wouldn't shrink because it was just a bit dusty rather than actually dirty, but I've washed it hot before after some projectile vomit incidents and it's been fine then too.

Even stuff that said wipe clean only went through the wash perfectly fine by the way.

I washed my Maxi Cosi car seat covers in the washing machine and hung out to dry, all were fine and I washed at 30 degrees! The clothes, sheets, moses basket covers, bouncer covers were all washed in the wash at 30 as well and were fine, theses were all hung out (apart from clothes), but I would have put them in the tumble had the weather not been nice! Now, I have the Quinny Buzz 3 with the dreami and washed all of the insides and seat by hand, but I really wish I hadn't bothered as I left loads of soap on them :( I tried to dry them on the line but they were taking days so I stuck them in the tumble and they were all fine, so next time, it's straight in the wash and tumble for me, I won't be listening to the labels! The only thing I slightly ruined was the Quinny bag, I put it in the tumble dryer and there's like sticker rubber on the back, and that came off, but we aren't fussed!

Hey thanks for replies, I might just put them in the machine then on a cool wash. Thanks! xx

I'd stick them on a cool 30 degree wash or something if it was me.

anything that comes off put it in the machine everything else get the hoove an suction it everywhere then just a cloth and soapy water not too soapy though or you get white streaks either that or baby wipes are great if its not too filthy x

everything went in the washing machine at 40 degrees. Some things like the car seat cover I tried to wash at 30 first but it didnt get all the stains out (things like suncream) so did again at 40.
