How's your parents being since you've became a single parent?

My dad hated John, so he was fairly chuffed when we split. And he's been really helpful and seems more interested too.

My mum has been a godsend!! Shes been amazing. Helping whenever she could but she just informed me that shes ordered me a tumble dryer and fridge/freezer as well as £1000 worth of vouchers to put towards a washing machine and cooker for when I move out! theres nothing like saying you want rid of someone, eh?

Its really nice of her though, she really didnt have to do that. I'm gonna spoil her this christmas

My parents were upset at first then got over it, and once she was born...well....I have to fight them for her lol

My parents are really good, they've always hated her Dad and its great for thme he chooses to have nothing to do with her. My parents do my head in most of the time but they are fantastic with Emily and love to see her so i tend to put up with the stress so Emily has time with her grandparents.

My parents have been RUBBISH. They didnt bother too much before i had baby but being on my own hasnt made a difference, no phone calls to see how i am let alone help! Im spending xmas on my own instead of with them because im starting to really hate them

I've always got on great with my parents and they help me so much.. neither of them liked my ex but dad adores my son ..

My parents haven't been nice to me before I was a mom,so they surely aren't now!
They live in another state too.
