HSG testing and Leep procedure

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has gone for the HSG testing after having a Leep procedure?
I had a leep procedure done in June and this month I go for my follow up Biposy but they also want me to get a HSG test done soon. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation?

what is a leep procedure? ive had a HSG done, but idk that Ive ever heard for a leep procedure.

I had an abnonmal pap and after the biopsy they determined that there where to many abnormal cells so they used a procuedure called a LEEP where they use a looped wire to remove a section on your cervic.

I had a LEEP procedure done years ago and I've had 3 HSGs done since. I can't imagine the LEEP would have any effect on them.

I'm sure your doc told you this.....but I'll throw it out there too

Make sure you keep going back to have more paps done to make sure the abnormal cells don't come back. My leep was 13 years ago and i've had to have cryosurgery done several times since then due to the abnormal cells coming back.

Yes I have to go every 6 months now for the next two years cause I am in a study. Never going to miss one now.
