HSG this morning, all clear! Would a Fertility Monitor help me?

Well my hsg this morning was all clear, that was the final test so I guess I'll now be classed as unexplained! I have pcos but with 6 rounds of clomid I ovulated every time and got pg with the 2nd round!

I have no idea why it hasn't happened again but I am thinking of buying a clearblue monitor, me and hubby struggle with the sex everyday thing so I wonder if this might help to get the timing spot on! I did read somewhere on here however that it's no good if you are ltttc, any opinions?

Hi, I haven't had one those done yet, we haven't had me checked out until my DH has been as he has no sperm in his semen. Just wondered has your DH been checked?

Yeah he was checked when we started the whole process, he was ok too! Slightly low morphology on the first test but 2nd one was normal! We've had all the tests now and nothing should be stopping us conceiving!

Hi,

I have PCOS too and found that the monitor worked for me most of the time. My cycles range from 31 to 38 days and it managed to pick up my surges. I just found it very expensive with such long cycles as I had to use twice as many sticks!

Hi ladies,

I have the monitor and I really liked it when I was using it. I'm monitored so much by the Dr. now and I'm on meds that mess with the results so I don't use it anymore but when I did I found it very helpful. My body is like clockwork so I knew when I was going to ovulate so even though the machine says to start testing on day 6 or something I would never start until I knew my body was closer because yes, it can get expensive with all those sticks but it was always a very clear yes or no so I found it helpful.

Hi girls this is my first month using my cbfm, I have fertility friend app for my iPhone which I've been using.

Strange thing is my ff shows ovulation 4days out compared which the cbfm. The iPhone app is pretty basic put in cycles ans it works it out but I've been following it

Guess I'm just hoping this will be mire precise fx

we were trying to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years I bought and used the CBFM last year for about 5 months but DH didnt really like he felt under greater pressure to perform etc. so I stopped using it. We were due to start IVF in july costing us nearly £5000 so in a last ditch attempt I started using it again about 4 months ago (without telling my DH ) and low and behold I got my first ever BFP in june. I dont know if it was that made the difference but I just think it helped me figure out the best days we were to DTD. The only down side IMO i think it makes it make it all more clinical but I think you really get to the point you will try anything. People go on about how the sticks are expensive but I just used to think its not half as expensive as in my case IVF would be or what a baby will eventually cost. You can usually get them chaeper on amazon rather that somewhere like boots.

Ive had Dye test 2months ago and all clear too.
But for 7months i had been using cbfm prior to tubes being checked.I found i ovulated sametime every cycle to the dot and it was pointless using it.My highdays werepretty much the same pattern too.I never got BFP thoe.Benn TTC 19cycles now 7 with cbfm.

Im not gonna say cbfm is shite because it hasnt worked for me but i will say its worth a shot.When i first found this forum iwas cbfm thread for months and months and i saw somany BFPS .Even one girl got BFP after 10 cycles .

If you can afford the machine and 20 quid sticks most months id say it wont hurt hun try it glxxxx

i have been using for over a year and no bfp for me!
but it has helped work out highs and peaks and useful now as i know how many days from my peak to my AF so i know if to test or not, so know when i am actually late.
My cycles are 27-32 days so been helpful as sometimes i peak at day 16, sometimes 19
