and the FS receptionist said
"im sorry we cannot prescribe clomid as you have blocked tubes, can you come in on 23rd April to speak to the FS"
no more info, nothing
i am gutted, don't know where i stand, and she couldnt answer any questions as she was just reading what he wrote
anyone had this diagnosis before and what is my next step do you think?
i am guessing Laparascopy
i am scared this means i can never conceive

forgot to add, i am still in pain 1 week after my HSG
not sure if a problem, no fever or anything, just pains in the ovary area

i think you should prepare a list of questions for your FS based on the information you have and definitely ask for a print out of your results. the thing is whatever they told you during the procedure counts for nothing (as I found out recently), all info obtained during the procedure will later be analyzed by different specialists who can then properly interpret it. during my HSG the guy did not see anything wrong with my uterus but later the specialists who were looking at the results found that there might be something wrong so am being sent for lap and other tests. besides, whoever did my HSG did not even do it properly as the end of my right tube was not visible and they could not conclude whether it is open. do not worry yet just get prepared and ask away. My major mistake was not asking enough questions and FS do not tend to volunteer information. In worst case scenario that they tell you have blocked tubes, consider you are lucky you finally know the reason and can deal with it. firstly, the lap can fix this and they can try to open your tubes but even if this fails you know that IVF is your option and you do not waste any more time TTC naturally knowing this is not going to work.

Thank you, I will make a list and yes you are right, at least we know something which is good
