My 17 day old baby take 4oz of Aptamil every 3-4 hours and still seems hungry afterwards and takes her ages to settle and she barely goes the 3 hours at times without being really hungry and crying , what should i do can i give her an oz more or should i change her milk to the hungry baby? Thanks in advance x

I would up an oz dont think hungry baby milk is required. My 10 day old takes 3-4 oz 3-4 hourly xx

I would say 3-4 hours is very good for a newborn, my 8 month old barely goes 2 hours between feeds and he's now on solids too. There are loads of growth spurts until 4 months so its normal for them to feed frequently

We switched our 3 week old baby to hungry formula, but he would take 5-6 oz of the aptamil first milk and then be demanding more within 60-90 minutes. It got to the point where he couldn't physically fit it all in his tummy and would vomit a fair bit of it back up, before immediately demanding yet more milk. Now he is on the aptamil hungry baby formula he takes 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours and is sleeping much better at night too.

I reckon try giving your baby an extra ounce or two at each feed, especially if she seems like she is still hungry. If that doesn't satisfy her hunger, then maybe try the hungry formula.
