Hypotherapy/hypnobirthing book/CD

My hubby is a hypnotherapist and is about to start his training for hypnobirthing. He recommends the Mongan method. Her book is available on amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/HypnoBirth...&qid=1421397119&sr=1-2&keywords=hypnobirthing

I also bought him this for christmas and he said it was good too. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mindful-Hy...&qid=1421397119&sr=1-4&keywords=hypnobirthing

Natal hypnotherapy by Maggie Howell. It's amazing!! There is a CD for preparation and then a CD of music to listen to in labour and a companion book, Effective Birth Preparation. I can't recommend it enough. I used it for my first birth, which was a home birth, and the only pain relief I needed was a TENS machine. Labour really wasn't painful at all, tiring and intense, yes, but not really painful (only painful part was the cervical exam, which I'd never do again, and getting stitches after). Otherwise, so manageable and I chalk it up to the natal hypnotherapy.
