hello!
Just worried..i just got my TSH levels checked (since i have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism after a miscarriage at 7weeks last year) as a routine i get them checked every month since bfp. the level ranged betweel 1-2.5 hence no issues till date. however at 24weeks pregnant, the level raised from the last 2.92 at 20weeks to 4.92 at 24weeks.
my dr. won't be available till Wednesday, can anyone help? please please tell me this will not affect my baby at this stage!:-( worried sick now.

I don't know where your located but are you not under consultant care? I too am hypo and also have blood monitoring every 4 weeks with consultant appointments at the same time to alter the dose.

My thoughts would be that they will raise your thyroid medication immediately I was advised at that stage of pregnancy your likely to need to double your dose but this is something the consultant/doctor will advise on. Can you ask to speak with someone else, another doctor, midwife etc for your own peace of mind tomorrow? I'm sure baby will be fine though it's not been left high for a lengthy period of time which is the main thing. Xx
