I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism?! Helpppp!
I have meds to regulate it bit what does it mean and would it have played a part in our ttc journey?!

I have also just been diagnosed with hypo. Although my TSH is not soo high it seems that it can still affect hormones, your risk for miscarriage and the child's Development. I am looking forward to trying meds not that I am convinced it will help me finally conceive but maybe I will have more energy and feel less Cold at least.

Best wishes, A

I have been on levothyroxine since 9/2013 for hypothyroidism. It plays a huge part in fertility and overall health. I am still learning myself. I believe it is the cause for my secondary amenorrhea as does my doctor. I hope you figure things out! Good luck, baby dust, and best wishes!

My doctor seemed to think it will be the key to unlock this infertility none sense!!
I am on meds daily now and she said I will see in improvement within the month and it should take full effect in time for next cycle when we ttc again. (I have a laproscapy this coming week which will probably intervene with ttc)
I really hope it is what is playing a role so this will help!

I am not LTTC but saw this thread. I fell pregnant with my LO with undiagnosed hypothyroidism. It was found during my antenatal bloods. They thought it was gestation related and took a wait and see approach. An endocrinologist ended up putting me on Oroxine eventually. My LO is beautiful and healthy. So just wanted to let you girls know, all the best xxx

I too am Hypo been using Armour it's a Dessicated thyroid not synthetic and my cycle have increased back to the norm 28 days most months and I feel better!!

I'm a big believer in the Dessicated Thyriod everything I take is Bioidentical it also prevents having to have ur Dose increased after months unlike synthetic !!! GL

Try to fix tsh between 1 and 2 thats how i got pregnant!
I also took b6 after ovulation to help lengthen the luteal phase women with hypo have low b vitamins(and these are very important when it comes to fertility)
Also folic acid helped with regular ovulation
And most important dont get stressed!
