I can't believe I'm here...

Hi! I've been silently stalking this site for the past 3 weeks in denial/shock about being pregnant with TWINS! But yesterday, I got the all clear from the doc that risk of MS is very low now. (I'm 9.1 weeks; good/equally sized beans, separate sacs, strong HBs over 170). So I guess it's time to face the music. We're having two babies. At one time. Good lordy.

Anyway... I'm looking forward to my wonder twins and to getting to know my fellow +35s.

Of course you can ask! I'm 36. I'll be 37 when they're born. I have an 11 year old son already, and I had grand plans about all the free time I was going to have in the coming years as my son gets older. God laughed at my plans.

Congrats and welcome!! Don't worry, Im still in shock over being pregnant with my first at 40, and will be 41 when I deliver....Tried to conceive naturally for 10 years with no success, and then just when we resigned ourselves to being fur parents for the rest of our lives, I conceived!

I blame the karma of this twin pregnancy on my OH. He's spent the past 6 months talking about his brother's twins -- "Poor, brother, he used to have a life. Twins really suck you dry. Etc." Ha ha ha ha ha. Now that it's happening to him, he's excited about it, but I still think it's pretty ironic.

Congratulations!! I am expecting twins too. I have a 13 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. Life is going to become very interesting, that's for sure!!
