Baby 3 weeks on Saturday, but he has bern fussy and doesnt seem to be getting full after feeding today. Always wants the boob and gets mad, not napping...

I squeezed my nipple and didnt get milk. Boobs are squishy, what should I do?

WSS, keep baby at the breast add much add possible. Also, if I don't eat enough calories I don't produce enough milk.

There's a big growth spurt at 3 weeks so that's all totally normal. Just keep nursing. :)

Sounds like the Week 3 growth spurt. Go with it. Its hard work but it should pass in a few days. There's another around 6 weeks too. :flower:

What you can or can't express doesn't say anything at all about what LO is actually getting because you hands or a pump are nothing like your baby's mouth :)

Your boobs aren't actually supposed to be hard, that's just at the start when your supply hasn't settled down. Don't worry about that.

As long as LO is having a good number of wet and dirty nappies, he is getting enough so I wouldn't worry at all if he is at the breast more than usual or fussing. Babies do this - as they grow they need more milk so they feed more often at first to tell your body to make more. Pretty clever!
