I finally got my consultants appointment!

Well i finally got my consultants appointment on friday for the 21st November!
Im so pleased and i cant wait to go so that i can finally get some answers and try and move on.

I M/C at 17+4days five weeks ago now and im doing alot better than i thought i would be! Some days i feel so sad but i know i have to pick myself up again and try and be ok!

Im a bit upset as we had her cremated and there are no ashes to scatter as she was so small, it upsets me as id love to have scattered them on my farm where i live and known she was with me all the time and had a place i could've gone to remember her.I have all my scan pictures though and her hand and footprints which are lovely.

At least ive got my appointment so i'll let you all know how it goes! Im hoping they dont tell me i have cervical incompetance as that would mean stitches and alot of resting next time, and i know that would be horrid! I have done alot of research into it though so at least im prepared for the worst!

I hope you are able to get some answers from your appointment Appointments like this are so hard - do you have someone going with you?

Before you go, can I just advise that you write down all the questions you have? We had a post mortem after our son was Stillborn at 28 wks - I had so many questions, and am pleased I had written them all down, as my mind went blank at the appointment. Also, ask if you can have a follow up appointment a few weeks after, as you may think of other questions afterwards.

Whatever the results are, I hope that they will offer you extra care & reassurance if you should TTC in the future.
