I went today for my last antenatal clinic apt. I have a c-section now planned for 39 weeks on 19th December x

My last 2 pregnancies were emcs, last year when my daughter was born they found lots of scar tissue and a suffered a bladder tear.

so to avoid emcs situation this time they advised a more calm planned environment where time could be taken.

I have a gut feeling thought that my body isn't going let this baby be carried that far and just think labour will start before then LOL

I have to confess I am doing the same as I did last year prior to induction and I am on evening primrose oil and raspberry leaf tea just incase I do go into labour myself, as epo will help effacement and rlt helps with second stage labour and more affective contractions and I am covering that just in case LOL x

Anyone else go into labour despite being booked??

Acupuncture too. But Google search "Ideas for the Best Cesarean Possible by Penny Simkin-great article

You will be fine hun! Ive had 2 sections now and they arent as bad as you think!

Plus 19th December is a great day to have a baby (its my birthday) and you should be out in time for Christmas x

it's my mums 60th birthday that day too xxx

Just wanted to say congrats on getting the date. We had the date of Aug. 16th and went in for it only to find out there were too many people that day and we couldn't do it. It worked out.. we had my LO on the 17th.... but as a 39 week pregnant lady.. that 24 hours felt like forever.
