I had my scan on Friday

Hi ladies

I had my scan on Friday at 12w 6d and saw my baby wriggling, thumb sucking and swallowing. The sonographer said if she had to hazard a guess she would say boy but that is is a hard call at this age because both gender's bits look the same, the only difference is the angle which she couldn't see as she checked on the cross section. Any opinions on gender from the picture?

She also moved me forward a few days which would makeme 14 weeks today but I don't think that's right as I would have had to have conceived on the first day tcc which was the day before my first 'high' on my CBFM..... Hmmm.

The best news was thet my DS risk went down from and age related risk of 1/62 to 1/750 after bloods and the scan.

Thats a wonderful scan picture! Its amazing just how much they grow in a matter of weeks - I had a scan at 7 weeks and 'it' looks like a stretched out shrimp with no form! I cant wait to see mine at 12 wks

I know it's bonkers isn't it - a jumping bean with a heartbeat and a few weeks later a whole, thumb sucking baby!

thats grate news hun so happy for you, am still waiting for my results i had my scan on the 5th june which was the bank holiday tue, am 36 37 nest wk and hopping fingers cross all is ok and not at risk, can i ask how old you are and how long did you have to wait for results, xx

I got my results at my scan but I went in a few days earlier so they could take blood for the bloods part of it.
All hospitals do it differently - ;ast time I was at Kings College and they took bloods, scanned me and had all results back by the end of the scan.

i think that i much better way, am in shropshire, and we did not get asked if wont the test till scan, me and hubby had a little row he did not wont it and i did lol, she sent us out to chat and after a tea we went back in, we dont talk about it now and am sooo worryed think he is to, just with the weekend and b holidays am not sure how long is good now,
