I literally have to lay flat on my back or leaning back at enough of an angle to be even remotely comfortable I feel like he is inside my rib cage last night I couldn't breathe properly felt like I constantly needed to take a deep breath, I honestly don't know what to do I'm at 38 weeks exactlytoday x

Ouch! Have you tried getting on all fours to try and encourage baby to move down a bit? x

hi i know what you are feeling i am closer to 39 weeks and mine feels like hes in rib cage aswell plus mines breech which doesnt help i dont know what advice i can give to make you feel more comfortable other than massage all round that area seemed to help me , on the plus side not long to go now !

I know the feeling. Can't find a comfortable position either and she pushes on my ribcage !

I sympathise i am so damn uncomfortable and if i lean back on the sofa i feel like i can't breathe !! x

I feel your pain.. baby isn't in my ribs anymore since he has dropped quite a bit but now it literally feels like my left hip is broken.. cant even get up without nearly crying.. im soo done

You're not alone hun I have this pain since November and I at times don't know what to do with myself!!! I find one of the only things to help is a heat pad on the bad ribs, really helps to ease the pain. My poor Hubby has had to everything for the past 2 months as anything I do sets the pain off again. Not long left now!!!
