So far since 1am she has had 27 and a half oz (plus she was on me for an hour or so during the night!) She is very sicky though. To the point she pretty much bought up a whole 7oz bottle (although it probably looked more than it was.)

Wow, she can eat 7 oz in one sitting? Kiki can only eat 4 oz at a time.

Why does she keep spitting up?

How much did she weigh yesterday? If she's being sick lots (I think it does always look more than it is though - imagine pouring a 7oz bottle all over yourself!) maybe she just wants to suck for comfort because she likes being on you. When we've given Sam bottles he'll drink it really fast and then scream as if he's still hungry...I got worried the first time and fed him straight after it and he was then really sick so I think he just wanted to suck on me, but he can't do that on a bottle.

If he has a bottle now I'll just keep something near me to distract him with when he's finished and he's fine - then he'll wait 3 hours until his next feed. I'm not suggesting you don't feed her if she needs it - I'm sure she'll let you know if she is still really hungry x

How far apart are your feedings?
I don't give Mia a bottle if she cries, I give her dummy. She only feeds on schedule (every 3 hrs, 5 oz). For example, my husband fed her the other day an hour after she ate because she cried and she threw everything up.

I'd also recommend giving a paci instead of a bottle if she is comfort sucking. When Erica was born she would eat and eat but then throw everything up because her tummy was too full. We try all other things before giving her a bottle if she is crying, unless it is time for her to eat. She eats 4oz per feeding about every 4 hours. The most she has ever eaten at once is 5oz and it was a nighttime feed. I'd def try to soothe her with either a paci for other ways before giving her another bottle. I cant imagine such a little girl eating so much.

All together in 24 hours she had 34 and a half oz. She has a dummy at night but she doesn't like it. She spits it out and cries some more.

I can't feed her on schedule while she is so sicky. I get worried she won't get enough.

i had similar problems with summer but not quite as bad, she would seem hungry all the time so i would feed her then she would be sick then not long after she would be crying as she was hungry again. My health visitor told me it was because i was over feeding her, and thats why she was sicking loads of it bk up. i know how hard it is not too feed her as much when she is now used to getting fed as this is what happened with summer. so i changed her to the hungry baby milk, i was not told to do so by my health visitor but did it anyway as it seemed the only logical answer and its worked great, it took her a little while after changing it to get into a rountine now in the day she is fed every 3 hours has her last bottle about 10ish and sleeps through the night no problems, sometimes until 9.00am the next morning.

hope things get better, but its worth a thought, i do know tht changing the milk does not suit everybaby tho!

I've recorded Colton's feeding since April. Usually he has about 30-32 ounces a day, but has had up to 36-37oz and he is almost four months old.

If I were you I would probably try the smaller bottles when she wants them. Especially is she is sickly. And try other things before giving her the bottle.. like a favorite toy, carrying her around.. she might just be bored.
