Found out on saturday no longer entitled to working tax credit, frankly i think that is disgraceful.
How you live on joint income of 18k have a decent life of living, i dont know.

Anyways, im now expected to live on £47 a week, which is impossible, just car/insurance and running the car will take up whole months of tax credit, still got rent/bills etc etc...

Any thing else i may be entitled to?

Thanks for ya help .

i dont think there is hun. Thats about what we live on with all tax credits, and my incapacity benefit combined. Shit isnt it.

me n my partner survive on less than that and we also have a car to pay for xx

do you have a toddler? baby on the way?
i pay 168 a mnth for my car, 35 for sofa, pay for tv & computer.
then my fuel, insurance, its impossible.

oh dear. Could you manage without the car? A cheaper car. There is a website that lets you know what u are entitled to. Sure someone will know

entitledto.co.uk but it isnt always accurate x

I had two children at the time and hubby earned 19k, we got by and had a fairly decent life. It takes serious budgetting, cutting back, accepting you are not able to buy everything new like you would, but it is doable. Now there will be 4 children and we have an income of about 24k a year.

i was looking at changing my car wont make any differance to money i owe back anyways.
ive tried that site, just told me what i already knew. cant even get the loans the job centre pay out.

were cut back loads lately, if cut back anymore, wont be food on the table, running water, etc etc. We never use the heating to try reduce costs, nothing is ever left on standby.
have 600 rent a month then 146 council tax to, was looking whether to move would be best option, then have repay for everything got working here so just going around in circles.

Sorry to hear that you're struggling, without knowing your situation any better its hard to judge whether you're entitled to anything but the direct.gov website is very good at explaining what you might be entitled to, so i'd suggest going through that if you haven't already.

thanks, i went on to that, then the online benefit thingy works out stuff, just said entitled to TC & CB.

It is a shame, try having a look at moneysavingexpert.com? Their forums are full of people who might be able to advise you on how to cut back or save money and manage on your £47 a week. I also used the advice on the main site to reclaim £400 of bank charges and £2000 from PPI (on a loan) from my banks - who settled without me even starting any legal proceedings.

yeah i have one on the way and an 8 year old boy :) xx
