OMG! Had my 26week check up for bp\ urine test. Mw did my fundal height! I'm 28cm on it & baby is already engaged! Mw looked at me shocked & said if she wasn't so low that I can't move her head! She would be higher on chart! Lol
I knew she was going to be my biggest. As I have big babies anyways & she hurts at times when she is on the move. I can't believe she is still locked & loaded since my 12week scan! Always been head down my eldest dd was 7lb 14oz at 38weeks & my youngest was 6lb 15oz at 37weeks! My babies gain about a pound a week! Chunky monkeys xxx

That's awesome. As long as Mw and doctor isn't worried its great that baby is healthy and big! I can't believe she's already head down. Is Mw worked about preterm labor? I have big babies too! My DS#1 was born at 8lbs at 37weeks and Ds#2 9lbs at 38 weeks and he was supposed to be induced early cause doctor was afraid I might have a 10lb+ baby if I went to full term. Joke was on doc, went in for induction and was already in labor!

My doc's aren't worried. Coz I don't have GD been tested for that monday. Mine was very low. And I get pre-e, eclampsia & hellp. Which normally causes babies to not grow properly. But mine don't read the books on what they are meant to be lol. No mw isn't bothered about her being engaged either. My cervix was checked at 20week scan. Was normal. And she has been head down since my 12week scan mayb it's coz she is my 3rd. That my body is just cosy lol.
Wow least i'm not alone! U have big babies too. My mw was shocked as she said if baby wasn't already rite in my pelvis she may be 30cms on the fundal chart! Lol xx

My first baby had IUGR, so she was really little (5lbs 7oz at 38+4 weeks), but otherwise I think I cook em' big, too. My second baby was 6lbs 11oz at 36+6 weeks, so who knows how big he would have been at 40 weeks! This baby is already measuring ahead, too.

Maybe it's a good thing you and I tend to have our babies early!

I asked my OB why she thinks my DS came as early as he did, and she said that in a lot of cases, she thinks that the baby is just "fully cooked" and sends the signal to start up labor. So there may be some truth to your theory!

Well my babies would have been porkers lol. Coz mine was both inductions. So they had no intention on coming early. But I think they know. That coz my gets so poorly sick. That they better be big quick coz they will be evicted lol
