Well getting her ready for bed and she rolled over so i rolled her back,

When i rolled her back i didn't realise her arm was stuck under her, and as i rolled her heard this loud popping sound and she starting screaming, i brought her arm round and gave her a cuddle, she cried for about a min then stopped.

I checked her arm out and it all seemed fine, she's moving it around and putting weight on it no problem, was back to herself in 5mins and has settled fine. She'll get up when i go bed and i'l check her again and make sure everything's okay.

Now can someone tell me that i've done the right thing? And i mean by not taking her to hospital or out of hours?? x

I'm sure if she is fine in herself and her arm seems to be working ok you needn't worry :hugs:

I agree with bexy.Just keep an eye on it :hugs: xxx

Thanks ladies i thought it would be fine , but just worried iykwim x

you've totally done the right thing, it sounds like it's absolutely fine now :hugs:

 am sure its fine hun x
wen robyns elbow came out of her socket she couldnt move it or put any weight on it so am sure she is fine hun :hugs:

you'd know if it hadn't popped back in correctly, my niece (who was 3 at the time) dislocated her shoulder and screamed and screamed and didnt stop till my sister got her to hospital where they put it back into place!

:hugs: you've done the right thing totally honey, see how she is, but she seems fine now i wouldn't worry x

My OH broke his shoulder a few years ago, and now he dislocates it about once every 2 weeks. He's always told me that the best thing to do is leave it along so the muscles can relax and the bone can go back into the joint. If this doesn't happen after ten minutes, then that's the time to get a doctor to do it for you. He says it's always a bit achey afterwards, but not too bad. If she's still fussy then maybe give her some calpol?

She will be fine & if not will scream in pain. i am the worst ever for thinking I've pulled/popped things out but honestly think she would let you know if you had :hugs::hugs::hugs:
