I thought sick was supposed to go away, not come back!!

I was sick from 8-11 weeks, and then fine week 11 1/2-12, up to 13, and starting yesterday when I hit second tri I started to get sick again! I just spent 10 minutes leaning over the porcelain throne!

Hun, I know how you feel... I was sick from 6 weeks and when it went away around 12 weeks I was so glad but the last couple of days I have gone backwards again and today I feel absolutely rotten

Guess it was just wishful thinking ....

I felt yucky up until about 16 weeks, not sick just felt and every now and again I still feel rotten. Started again last night and feeling it all day today, unfortunately have my driving test tomorrow and as i have diarrhoea with it as well, i am dreading tomorrow now.

I haven't stopped being sick yet! Some days are better than others but I've lost almost 2 and a half stones since getting pregnant.

Little haricot seems to be growing well though and everything looked fine on my anomoly scan!!

Yep hun same here, well I don't vomit at all, just constant nausea and it started to abate but it's reared it's ugly head again and I'm constantly dry heaving!! ANd now headaches have started... I thought 2nd trimester was meant to easier! haha

with my now 7yr old daughter, i didnt get anything until my 2nd trimester, and even then it wasnt for long, but it was evening sickness... horrible when you are trying to get home down a dual carriageway asap so you can get in to throw up.
my son... odd one or twice then nothing.
this one... feeling icky, wasnt ill much at all, but past few days... evening sickness again... aaaargh, was horrible when i was throwing up on a grass verge at a service station in front of my husband with the graceful elegance of my head out of car door, lol.
this is why i am wondering if i am having a girl again... the similarities are unreal, cravings, constant heartburn evening sickness etc.....
who said pregnancy is a beautiful thing? in a way it is... but then it can also be one of the most trying times we put our bodies through, if only we could make our partners do it for a week, it might make them change their minds before they say *stop whingeing* or *it cant be that bad*

I'm still sick too--and vomiting quite a bit. I'm not losing weight though, actually gaining in spite of it! I do have more energy and am actually getting things done around the house, and I don't have the horrible food aversions I had in the first trimester. Now I can eat almost anything except milk.

Sorry to hear. I've had HG and I am currently on Phenergen. I was hoping this would abate at 13-14 weeks but here I am afraid to skip a pill, because of how severe the vomiting is.... baby steps!

My morning sickness with my little boy, on the whole hasn't been too bad. I did feel rough from weeks 8-10 with nausea most days, then it eased off.

It has been coming back occasionally since then though, sometimes for entire weekends, other times just a day here and there. It's just something that I have accepted will probably rear it's ugly head from time to time. It seems there are good days and bad days in pregnancy and you just have to make the most of the days where you feel
good!

If it's gone once Hun it can go again. My sickness only got better at 17 weeks but still get sick at least twice a week even now at 21 weeks which never happened with my son. I'd say if you went over a week or 2 with none you may find by 15 weeks it disappears, that's a usual time when placenta fully takes over x

I had it on and off until the end of 14 weeks. Even now I still get gaggy sometimes when i'm trying to do dishes or clean!

hello

with my first pregnancy i had real bad sickness from week 8 through to week 38 which made me feel i would NEVER get pregnant again !!!!!

That was 5yrs ago and yes you guessed it im now pregnant (19 weeks) and this time round my sickness started instantly and went through to week 13 when it just stopped as fast as it started and im praying it doesnt return !!

I guess every pregnancy is different.

I have been sick since week 5 been off work for 4 weeks grrrr.... getting really fustrated!! will all be worth it in the end ladies xx
