I had a surgery back in March of last year. I had a laproscopy (spelled that wrong) and ablation on my right ovary for cysts associated with endometriosis. I also had a procedure done on my uterus to correct a uterine septum. Prior to having the surgery, I was told if I ever get pregnant I would have to have a c-section. I told the doctor thats fine, I want a baby I dont care how I get it. But now, I am curious. Anyone know why those procedures, whould require a c-section versus vaginal delivery?

Because u have scarring on your uterus you will be at risk of rupture during labour which can be fatal for you and baby as it will cause internal bleeding. ..as far as I know the risks of rupture are slim but not worth the risk xxx

I have been told the same - my uterus has been cut into twice to remove a total of 16 fibroids. Anytime the muscle of the uterine wall has been cut, you lose the elasticity and flexibility to be able to push out the baby and going through labour puts you at risk of uterine rupture.
