Some doctors/people say...first day of bleeding...some say first day of spotting...UGH which is it!

You are supposed to count from the first day of bleeding. Real break through so to speak.

My doc said first day of bleeding and that spotting doesn't count,I had the same problem

My understanding is that CD1 is the first day of "flow", so I don't count spotting either. x

Thanks ladies! I guess I get confused every month because I spot for like 5 days before my actual period, but sometimes it feels like its never going to come so I never know if I should take my clomid when I spot...or wait for the flow if it ever comes...
