I promise to give you a lovely home, a place that makes you feel safe and happy.
I promise to provide you with everything you need including lots of cuddles and kisses.
I promise to nuture you support and encourage you to enable you to grow into a well adjusted adult.
Most of all, I promise to love you till the day and die and beyond.

awww - no I don't think it's pointless at all. It's very sweet. With weight loss they say that you should imagine yourself slim and how you will feel, what you would say about yourself, etc - to spur you on. I think it's a similar thing really, it's something you have put down to give you focus on becoming a mummy, what a wonderful mum you'll be and how much you will love your children xx
