We've just had our first round of ICSI & had two perfect embryo's transferred on Monday 1st Nov. I woke up this morning & had some brown discharge when I wiped - sorry if TMI - as the day as gone one this is turning to light bleeding. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience & gone on to have a positive result or can shed any light at all, obvioulsy very anxious at mo
ICSI and Bleeding..Can anyone help?

Hi Tass, When I had my IVF I started bleeding it was quite light at first and then it stopped and although my Cycle didn't end well (ectopic) I think the general rule is light bleeding with no pain is OK but if it gets heavier and you start to get cramps then thats not a good sign. I was in agony with cramps and was bleeding bright red about a week after my test date which is how we found out it was ectopic. Good luck to you hun and hopefully it's just a little implantation bleeding xxx

I read of a couple of girls a couple of months ago that this happened to and they went on to have a BFP! I think that the old blood might be remnants of EC and the red blood could quite easily be implantation bleeding. Try not to worry i think it happens a lot. Good luck for your BFP hun 
Today is the same, the bleeding is not any heavier but I think I'll phone the hospital tomorrow just to check. I don't have any pain or cramping so keeping my fingers crossed, trying to stay positive is a battle at the mo!!
Hi Tass - I hope everything is ok Yes call the clinic as they might be able to put your mind at rest, I know how you must be feeling, unfortuanly I've just had failed 2nd ICSI as period turned up before test date But I have read a lot of women get spotting and have a BFP - wishing you lots of luck

Things are excatly the same, I'm not sure if the spotting is getting a bit heavier or if I'm just being paranoid! I called the clinic & they said unless the bleeding gets heavier or I'm in any pain then continue as normal until the test date. Easier said than done!! xx
