So last Thurs my LO developed a fever- and for 3 days she was just very needy, wanting to be held most of the day etc... fever lasted 3 days, but since then... oh wow...

She has been such a grumpy little bear! Nothing seems to make her happy- she'll do OK in the morning after sleeping for 14 hours!!!! She normally sleeps 11-12hrs average.

But it's now day 7 and last night she was such a pill! Again, NOTHING made her happy really- and this is so unlike her. I got home from work excited to see her and wow- grump city! I finally put her to bed early (5:30pm) and she slept till 7:30 this morning. So something must still be going on?!

Besides some irregular poo's- she seems totally fine- no fever or runny nose for a few days... I'd like my baby back please! I'm just hoping it worked it's way through her tummy and it's totally gone now! Poor kiddo.

Note: MIL just texts to say her appetite seems to be better today- she ate all her eggs and now she's eating blue berries. That's good! She's been tough with eating the past week too.

EDIT: She's back to her perky self finally! Yay :)

Could it be her molars hun? Isabelle is suffering at the moment, although her teeth have been late. She's just working on her 12th - not fun.

She has all her teeth in besides her 2yr molars- I tried to take a peek, but that wasn't working well. LOL. That was my other thought- IDK. She has her 1st year molars already- since 10mos. So it's possible her 2nd molars are coming in early like the rest of her teeth (?) Maybe I'll try to take a peek again later...

the only other thought is that her canine teeth (all 4 popped through several weeks back) are pushing through even more maybe? She didn't have that issue with her other teeth though. But they have seemed to fill in more the past week or so.

It does seem like typical teething behaviour is all! Otherwise if it was just a fever then babies can take a while to get over an illness.

Either way I hope she gets back to her normal self soon!

While she's not got a fever anymore she could still be recovering. If she's back to eating then she may be a bit better today - may be a simple case of grumps because she's not been eating right which means she gets tired and grumpy and then sleeps like crazy. May also be a development spurt which is badly timed with an illness so she's feeling a bit out of sorts generally. Earl used to have whole fortnights where his personality seemed to change, then he'd wake up one morning and have an inch more hair, be saying more words or doing something new, eating like a horse and back to his normal self.

Thanks ladies- she was pretty much back to herself yesterday when I got home! Thank goodness :) Of course she was up early today- lol- but I'm very glad she's perky and playful and sweet again. No more grumpy bear! haha. Especially since we are going to the coast with my brother and his family Saturday night.
