idea's for recipes/meals with chicken and rice?

Want to start giving maddi a taste of rice, so thought i'd cook some and mix it in with just her normal - carrot, parnsip, sweet potato, pea's etc - veg - but she also loves chicken too, so any idea's what sort of 'sauce' i could make to go with it?

what i usually do is use a can of cream of chicken soup and mix that in with the other stuff to give it some flavor and make it more moist and the best part is she loves it!

One that I do alot that the boys really like is just chicken and rice
I dice up boneless skinless chicken breasts, put them in a baking dish, add cream of chicken (you can make it homemade instead of the can too), 3/4c rice, chicken broth (can't remember how much would have to check) and season it up, bake it for 50min then top with some cheese. They love it...and it's easy.

Thanks! That last one is a favorite meal for all of us, Mark (my dh) really loves it.

Do a fresh tommy sauce. Chop a tomatoe, add a tiny bit of olive oil and some fresh basil or dried herbs, a bit of garlic (we use Lazy Garlic) and some onion. In a small pan with a drop of water and the lid on.

I have just made Chicken, Grape and Courgette with Rice.
Put a cut up chicken breast, a sliced courgette and 10 Grapes in a pan with 150ml Chicken stock (1/2 a boots baby organics stock cube in 150ml boiling water) boil for 10 or until Chicken is cooked then stir in the rice Annabel Carmel lol xx

Sounds scrummy.....except the chicken for me..

A simple tommy sauce works well with most stuff doesnt it - I do that for pasta too.

Can all these recipes you've mentioned be frozen???

At the moment, Gabbi only has pasta stars, got 3 varieties in the freezer plus her fruit as I don't have much time to make fresh every day.

Now we can't get cream of chicken soup out here, well seen it once and it was soooooooo expensive! So that's a no go. What can I do instead?
