ideas for xmas cards..

So because we are poor this year I am making our own xmas cards lol.. i've stolen some card from work and got paint now not sure what to do...

When I worked at nursery's we did a lot of hand print angels but not sure they would work so well with Ellie's little unhelpful 4 month old hands lol... thought of somehow making an xmas tree with her hand prints but not sure if this would work..

Any ideas anyone???

The tree handprints look cute I have done that before.

Or try Reindeer foot print ones with hands and feet (a google search will show you what they look like)

If you can get hold of green feathers they look lovely on a card with some sequins for a tree

just tried the reindeer and it was an epic fail!! lol Ellie refused to open her hand once it was painted!! foot was easy though! maybe I could just do her foot prints and then draw the antlers on!

was going to say use her handprints for the antlers, thts wat we did one year,and also we have done the xmas tree handprints

can you not do a green footprint and then put glitter and sequins on that would make a nice tree, im a nursery nurse and usually with the smaller ones they usually just dribble glue and then sprinkle glitter and stick shiny things on. Or you could just do several gold handprints to make a star ?? xx

Ignore the stupid writing and the reindeer features - OH has very little imagination and couldn't see past the 'sploge' on the card lol - so had to quickly do a template of what it would look like once stuff is added!

A bit stuck now as I think its going to be pretty impossible to get her to open her fist! as I wanted to do a variety of xmas trees, angels and reindeers - couldn't even get a thumb print from her lol

haha she's only 4 months! and i know it doesn't need to look perfect but I just wished she opened her hands!!! lol cos its gonna make doing the xmas tree and angels very difficult! gonna have a try at them tomorrow!
