hi girls, im after some advice, although it doesn't have anything to do with ttc, im 44 been ttc since 2006, started on clomid 2 mths ago, my problem is bout 4 wks ago, sorry got to bt blunt, my r nipple was rather sensative, i was at work n i didnt want to scratch it so got some toilet paper n rubbed it gentley wen i removed the paper it had a small amount of blood on it, i immediatly rang dr, got app she said shouldn't worry unless it happened again if it did i was to go bk n see her, then the sunday b4 last, i was lieing on the sofa in just a tsirt n shorts, wen i got up there was again a small amount of blood, i went bk to the dr last wednesday n she said she'd refer me to the hos, she said they would fone me in about 2wks, i got a call the next morn n i have an appointment for thur, the follow up letter confirming app said the app will take bout 4hrs, to see a nurse n have tests carried out, i wrote on here hopeing that maybe someone can either give me some advice or tell me a site were i can get some advice n support, if i had my way i stick my head in the sand n pretend it's not happening, it's making me ill, i don't need the stress whilst ttc n worried that they will find something bad n tell me we have to stop trying,im absolutly terrified,

I'm sorry that I can't help you, but didn't want to read and run....

aside from the bleeding, is everything else ok? no cramps, no fever, nothing? It could be just a skin irritation that has scabbed a little and is nothing really to worry about (but of course, you'll worry!), just try and relax for the moment and hopefully, the appointment on thursday will help you/answer your worries.

best wishes

Dear dakron, I'm afraid I know nothing but wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you. Praying all goes well on Thursday, keep us posted and I hope it is only good news for you xxx

I don't have any advice or experience, but I wanted to wish you lots of hugs and good thoughts! I hope it's nothing. :hugs:

While I have no personal experience with your situation, I would urge you not to panic. There are several causes of your condition that do not include the big C. The most common is inflammation.

I wish you the best of luck.

Hi dakron, I think it's important that you get fully checked out with any breast changes so you're doing the right thing and it's good that you've got an appointment quickly. It's likely at your appointment that you will have a mammogram and possibly an ultrasound as well as an examination. Bleeding from the nipple can have many causes and yes, the Big C is one of them, but there are many others and doing a search on the internet may just make you worry more than ever :hugs:. Is the bleeding from your nipple the only symptom you've had?

Thinking of you honey and hope everything goes well on thursday :hugs:. Do keep us posted.

hi dakron
I can't add much to what the previous posters have said, but wanted to wish you the all the best for appointment tomorrow. You've done the right thing by acting quickly to get the appointment. Sending you lots of prayers:hugs:

Hi Dakron
I don't have any experience of this but didn't want to R&R. But I do know what it's like to be terrified of something beyond my control......you got this far in life, trying to conceive for so long and that must be really stressful. Now All you can do is take big, steady deep breaths, say calming things to yourself such as 'I am going to be ok, things are going to work out just fine'. Google your symptoms to see if there are any support helplines you can call, but don't freak out because the internet can be a scarey place. Limit your time searching. Everytime one of your worst fears takes a hold of you, replace it with your best hopes for life.
Take care.....
lots of love xxxx

Hi Dakron,

I've nothing to add but wanted to send you lots of :hugs:
take care
xxx

girls, thank you so very much for all ur kind word of support, i just didn't kno where else to look, iv told nobody except my hubby, n the only reason i told him was cos he's on a wks holiday n knew i couldn't get away with saying i was workin, iv had a little bit of green/grey fluid with the blood but have read that that can b quite normal anything from clear to grey is experianced by 79% of women or something like that, other than side effects to clomid in round one, iv had no problems, im on average a fit healthy woman, weighting bout eight n half stone, i was told by dr they would do a mamogrm the thing im terrified of is that also been told they will insert a needle n inject dye, i dont want it done whilst ttc incase it causes problems, xxxx, i will visit here after i get back tomoro n let u kno how i get on, i belev they will actually give me the results tomoro which is why it's a 4hr app, anyway thank you again so much, it is lovely to kno that although i don't personally kno any of u, u r all there for me, that means so much to the extent that it made me cry,xx love donna xx

I don't have any advice for you but want you to know I'm thinking about you and wish you the best. :hugs:

Thinking of u huni during this very worrying time for you ,stay strong ,best of luck :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

while I didn't have the bleeding I did have discharge mammogram showed an "abnormality" scared me to death however when they did the biopsy it showed fibrocystic changes and all was fine. I know firsthand how scary it can be but wanted to help to calm your nerves some. Good luck with the appointment

Hi Dakron, I just wanted to wish you luck today. Its standard procedure in the UK for anyone with breast problems to be seen by a specialist within 2 weeks, so that's why they have you in so soon, and it is definetely wise to have any kind of problem checked, all kinds of things can cause the bleeding and discharge you describe, try not to worry too much :hugs: I hope it all goes smoothly xxx

Gosh I hope everything turns out ok!! I can't tell you not to worry - I know that's impossible... but I am sending prayers your way and hoping for the best. Please keep us posted!! Im glad you are getting answers right away - The unknown is what's the scariest!!! :hugs:
