I totally didn't expect it, I really thought I would be calling my doctor tomorrow for help! I've been in such a better mood today ... that's unusual cuz normally PMS brings bad-mood-Mandy.

Yay congrats! I felt the same after my m/c last year! I was never happier to see AF haha. Congrats on being back in the game!!

Thanks Kaylakin!!!! Good luck with your injectibles ... I am doing those this month too!! They ROCK!

Hey, thanks! So you've had injectibles in the past? Which ones? I'm glad to be starting something new, switching it up! Woohoo!

Ooh, just saw your siggy...follistim with femara, gotcha!

What injectibles are you using?? Have you ever done them before?? I never had any success with JUST femara ... the VERY first month I used injectibles I got pregnant.

I was SO scared of them at first, now they are a piece of cake! I actually can't wait to poke myself .... and I HATE needles!!

Hi! I'm using follistim. Just found that out this AM and had a brief instruction on how to use the pen. I was a little bit overwhelmed, but I'm sure after the first few times I'll get it down. I have done ovidrel for my 3 IUIs so the injection part is fine now, but I was having issues getting the needle on and staying on (it is so easy..wtf!) and then the nurse jabbed the needle into the fake belly that I was practicing on because she said I had to do it faster, but then the needle came out bent in half, lmao!

Anyway, I will be fine, and I'm glad that you had a good experience with injectibles!! What's your plan for meds this cycle? Same as your last IUI?

Oh, and she also showed me Ganirelix...ever hear of that? She said I may or may not have to use that. She said that it is for if you have like, 4 follicles, 2 are mature, 2 are smaller, and you want the 2 to catch up to the other two, you would use that. It was a pre-filled syringe like the Ovidrel so I feel comfortable with that.

I am out this cycle, and probably the next 2 cycles too

I will live vicariously through all the girls TTC this month. I will hope and pray for all their :bfp: 's .... My prego radar is normally "right on" que ... so I just have a positive feeling of quite a few this cycle. Just trying to see if my intution is correct or not. I hope so!!

I love seeing people who have tried so hard get their :bfp: because I know they are well-deserved.

Good luck to you!!!! May your dreams come true! :baby:

Oh no! So sorry to hear that you have to wait :hugs: It is awful to get sidelined like that when all you want to do is get started ttc.

I just read about it on your journal. I had one about 5 last fall and it cleared up in a few weeks after I was put on BCP pills. Hopefully the meds will do the trick and it clears up soon and you can get back to ttc :hugs:

Thank you for sharing that!! You have given me such hope. So far all I have heard about is people getting surgery with my size cyst or larger. Scared the ba-jezzus outta me!

I follow your journal! I hope this is your month!! So inspirational!!

Thanks PCOSMomToOne - and I knew I had secret journal stalkers out there :winkwink:

I hope your cyst reacts the same as mine and goes away soon. I don't know what brings the big ones on. I thought it was the clomid but haven't had cysts the past two cycles on that. No telling. There are different types of cysts too so hopefully yours is just a simple one and will go away.

I hate that they have to scare you with all the worst case scenario BS. I know it is all a possibility and they are supposed to tell you, but now every time I go in for a scan I worry I'll be rushed to the OR and wake up to find my ovaries gone.

Ugh, that really stinks you have to sit out this cycle! I"m sorry to hear about your cyst. However, I have heard of people having them larger than that and having them go away on BCPs or sometimes they even just aspirate them if it is a simple functional cyst. I guess the docs do have to tell you worst case scenario...but hopefully it won't come to that! What is the latest the doc has said to you re: the cyst? I had a small 2cm cyst at the beginning of this cycle, but in 3 days it went away, so hopefully yours is on its way out as well.

I go in tomorrow for a scan on CD9. It's my first month of follistim so I am nervous/anxious to see how I'm responding. I feel like there is some activity going on in there...US and BW tomorrow will tell me what's what..

MrsBear, how ya feeling?

On a side note, this girl at work is pregnant, and she had IVF to conceive, so I'm really confused because all she does is complain about the fact that she has to take thyroid hormone, or iron pills, etc, and she always looks miserable. I know it is nerve-wracking to be pregnant, and I don't expect it to be all sunshine and roses, but I just don't get it because she was miserable when she was TTC (very understandably) but now she is still just as miserable, and even complains about a routine OB visit, which should be very exciting...What do you all think of this? Don't you find it odd considering all she has been through? Maybe she is just being ultra protective because of her past? She is also a very anxious, egocentric person to begin with, but jeez! It's hard to be around... ok ttyl!

PCOSMomToOne - LOVE the new profile pic! :flower:

Kaylakin - FX for lots of follicles. It's weird to feel stuff happening in your ovaries when for the rest of our lives we didn't notice them in the slightest... As far as your coworker, maybe she is just one of those people that needs attention/sympathy. Now that she is pregnant she doesn't get the attention of going through IVF so she is dramatizing every little thing about it. I hate hearing people whine about issues related to pregnancy - it is hard not to snap at them that you only wish you were in their shoes. People I know that are pregnant and the type to whine about it I have been avoiding... :grr:

I'm feeling ok. Had some nausea and fatigue today but trying not to read too much into it. Still thinking I'm preggers one minute and that I'm out the next  lol
