I'm being thrown out and me and OH are being placed in a bedsit - what benefits/help?

Hey lovelies,
Basically me and OH were temporarily living with my mother. Anyway, she's gone a bit doolally and has thrown us out

We've enquired for help and we'll be given a bedsit owned by a landlord.

Question is, as me and OH are currently unemployed - what benefits are we entitled to?

And maybe a silly question but what exact bills will we be paying and how much will they be roughly? x

You will get Housng Benefit and Council Tax Benefit.

Are you currently in reciept of JSA, ESA, DLA or IS??

Water, Gas, Electric, Tv Licence, there your main utilities and then other bills on top, like Sky, contract mobile, petrol, food etc.

How do I receive these - do I go to the council and explain or jobseekers? x x

Go to the Council and get a HB form, fill it in.

And return it.

Make sure you inform JSA of your new address.
