I'm just not sure

We were told at the 20 week scan that she was 90% sure our baby is a girl. We had chosen a boy's name so if this baby is a boy then we're sorted, but we are having trouble agreeing on a name for the baby if she's a girly.

My OH suggested the name Nadia and we both liked it and said we would put it on the list. Later in the day we realised that the name Nadia was actually our 3 year old son's name, Aidan backwards!!!!

Some people i have spoken to have said that it is a lovely connection for the kids and that we have to use it now.

My OH is dead set on it but i'm just not 100% sure, i like it but can't commit. I think it's because i want the baby to have a name that is all their own.

I adore the name Naomi but OH has made his mind up.......help??

I actually like it. I even like it better that it was unintenional. I think its a great story and a pretty name.

I like it and the idea that its the same name backwards as your sons , but kinda see where youre coming from with wanting her to have her own name. If you are unhappy with the choice then you really need to talk to OH and let him know, Id hate to call my baby something that I wasnt at least 99% happy with. Good luck hun. xx

Are you planning to have any more? If not then I think it's a nice idea. And Nadia is a beautiful name. But if you think you might have a third LO at some point, then I'd stay away from it because you won't be able to make a similar connection and LO 3 might then feel left out. But if you're not keen just talk to your OH again!

Ha! I think that is a neat connection -- i say go for it! Aidan & Nadia sound great together! Plus your husband loves it... & you must at least like it if you were considering it at some point?
