So I am in my second semester of nursing school. One of our assignments was to watch a vaginal birth. Lets just say that I am really not looking forward to having the baby. Plus sometime in December I have to help them delivery a baby in my clinical rotations! After watching that clip on youtube I don't know if I can!!

Ah huni, im sure you'll be fine. Im a nurse and had to do a maternity placement when I was doing my training. It never put me off havin children and im on my 3rd. Just remember every woman is different and we all have different pain thresh holds, what one person may say was a horrendous labour another would say it was easy xxx

i remember my maternity placement when i was a student nurse and I loved it! I saw 7 vag births and 2 c-sections over the space of 3 days! Only one of the vag births looked bad and even that was only dodgy for about 20mins in the last stage of delivery, with forcepts. And the mom was all delighted when a healthy baby boy, 10lb odd was born!
You'll be fine, in fact it'll probably calm ur nerves about ur own delivery to see a few going off smoothly.
And yep it'll be ouchy but it's what we were designed to do...plus there are DRUGS:happydance::happydance::thumbup:
