Im sorry to post here, but I needed someone to talk to

I have not lost a pregnancy or baby but I decided to post over here because noone is respoding to my other posts and I do feel that I have lost or am losing what I never had. Is that even possible? my husband and I have been trying for 14 months and nothing. NO ever and I had irratic cycles all last year only to get teased this year with 3 months of picture perfect cycles and then in april i had my period on april 9th and it hasnt left yet. Ive decided its putting too much strain on me and my marriage. Ive been stressing the fact that wont leave and the doc said stop stressing. I cant have a normal life, is constantly there so I have decided to go on BC pills until whenever to get some type of normalcy in my life. I am deeply saddened because I want a baby more than ever and everyone around me is pregnant and even though the doc says I am ok I cant take it anymore. I cant even sleep with my husband at all.................Let alone try for a baby..........I dont know where I belong of the boards anymore. I was in TTC Journals and then It was taking so long so I moved over to LTTC and then I decided to stop stressing and stop posting in my journal which I dont regret and now Ive decided to go on BC pills cause I cant stop bleeding. I dont know where I belong and I dont know what to do

Your situation sounds the pits!! I'm sorry you're going through this. Are you beeding constantly throughout the month then? not just an extended period? WHat has your DR said? WHat tests/exams has he/she done for you? I'm def no medical expert, but bleeding with no sign of stopping doesn't sound right to me and BC 'may' not be the right course of action? Will Dr refer you to a fertility specialist because of the amout of time you've been trying?

Can you see another dr in the practice??? Lots of q's, sorry, but wanted you to make sure you're being looked after properly.

I dont know what they all consist of but he said all of my blood tests came out normal and ive been to another doctor and they just put me on BC pills. I know this isnt the right section but I do feel Ive lost something...........Sorry I dont mean to offend anyone

I dont think you would be offending anyone posting here chick!

HAve you had any internal investigations? Like a scan of your uterus, cervix check... Tests that can rule out reasons for bleeding, like cysts. I'm not sure what would be available to you, but sometimes procedures like a D and C (dilation and cutterage) can be performed to clear out the lining on your womb, if that is what is causing the bleed. So all in all.... I have no clue what is going on for you, but I would definitely be looking for a referral to a gyne for specialist investigation and help. Especially as you want to concieve.

Hi sweetheart....Im so sorry your going through this,but i agree with Freya. Bleeding for such a long time does not sound right,and should really be checked out by a gynie. They shouldnt be fobbing you off with pills. Have a "B*tch fit" as i like to call my grown up tantrums and make them sort you out properly.My docs are just as rubbish untill i start moaning and keep going back. Im thinking of you sweetie. Can always mail me if you want to talk.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. Try to take care of yourself right now- focus on doing something positive for yourself so that you might be able to reduce some of your stressors. I always conceive quickly- like immediately- my husband just has to look at me and I get pregnant. But, unfortunately my body keeps rejecting our little babes.

So, I completely understand your frustration. When YOU know something is wrong, but no one can shed any light on your situation, it is infuriating.

Hang in there- and try to stay positive!

oh dear! pls try to see another gp. i dnt think its normal either. ask them specifically what kind of tests they are carrying out and what those tests are meant to eliminate or show. that way u are sure too and not just generalising that u are ok. in the mean time. try to hang in there!
