you can start paying whenever hun,but the sooner you do,the less your weekly payments you have to make an intial payment with your order though.xx

i dont like catalogue things, i prefer to just put it away myself. Going to do a standing order of £1 a day (I'll do it weekly £7 on a monday) starting in Jan and I'll have £300 by next year

Is it bad that if I did that I wouldnt tell my hubby?lol...I might start putting money away each week,but I know if he knew it was there he would suddenly have things he had forgotten.xx

I couldn't do a catalogue to save my money as I like to take advantage of online offers etc. I did it once and found because the things I wanted were online rather than in specific shops I have a lot of vouchers left over after christmas so for me it defeated the purpose.

If it helps you then yay, well done for getting so organised so earlier.

I wanted to do this but when that company went bust a few years back it really really put me off. I cant save for the life of me and this would be perfect but I am just not wanting to lose money!

I looked into this but the prices in their catalogue are like x3 what stuff are in the shops if its the same thing i looked at

Be better off saving it hun , everything i have bought i will buy on offer , things that cost £30 + ive gotten for under £15! Just buy things on offer throughout the year and itll be so cheap at the end of it all! x

I do Park vouchers. The Love to Shop and M&S ones. The Love To Shop ones can be used in most places we buy presents from and we have them early October which is plenty time to get the early offers. I think the actual gifts in the catalogue are pretty dear.

We had vouchers left over last year which we kept and used towards Emma's new carseat from Halfords. You can always find something to spend leftovers on!!!!

I also save throughout the year. I put aside £50 a month Jan - Sept then £100 a month October and November. Next year we are going to try save £100 a month to cover birthdays throughout the year aswel as Christmas.
