Impetigo :(

Hi just wondering if anyone has had this while pregnant. I have had it a few times before an been given fucidin cream which has worked brilliantly but i don't know if I can use it.... It's very sore on both sides of my lips in the crack so keeps bleeding yuk!!

Spoke to doc last week when it started but he just ignored me and said wasn't bad enough to give anything. I knew tho it would get worse and guess what - it has!!! Thinking of going back monday but I have fucidin here from the last episode

So should I use it??

Hiya, I have been prescribed fucidin this pregnancy, my doctor said it was safe for pregnancy/breastfeeding. I'd still check with your doctor because I know mine was reluctant to prescribe anything until he was sure I needed it, and started out with fucidin before moving on to something stronger.

Thankyou very much! I'll call them monday and see what they say! I have a midwiffe appt too so i'll quiz them both hehe they are going to love me LOL!!

Loads better thanks. I got random eczema that wouldn't respond to anything and got infected, but I'm using betnovate now and its under control . Hopefully they say ou can use it, harass away, they love it really
