implanon birth control

Hi ladies, I'm not sure where to ask this question but maybe you can help. Is there anyone who has used or planning to use implanon contraceptives? What are the pros and cons? I checked on internet but I see all the negative stuff. I just implanted one yesterday. Tia

I have the implant and it's brilliant. I got it put in when my son was three months old. I haven't bled at all up until a week ago but it's stopped again now. My moods are fine and I don't feel like eating constantly like I did on the injection and the pill the best thing is you don't have to worry about remembering to take a pill or get your injection In time xx

I had mine implanted 17th July and bled constantly from 1 week after till a week ago. Thankfully it seems to have stopped now and I was advised at the time to give it 3 months to settle in. If the bleeding starts again and lasts for more than a week I may have to get it removed.

Any weight gain problems or does it depend on a person
